Real Madrid coach Juande Ramos feels the international break has done his side few favours ahead of this weekend’s trip to Malaga, where the reigning champions will seek to trim Barcelona’s six-point advantage at the top of the standings.

Madrid had more than a dozen players away representing their countries over the last week and Ramos revealed on Friday that virtually all of them returned to Madrid with varying degrees of niggles.
